PRIVACY, IN PLAIN ENGLISH.
RageCourt stores your username, email address, salted password hash, case follows, contributions, and votes so your account works across devices. We use signed session cookies for authentication and form security. We do not display your email publicly, sell personal data or currently serve behavioral advertising.
What is public?
Your username, approved evidence, discussions, creator rooms and reputation may appear publicly. Votes appear in aggregate; your choice is linked to your account in our database. Reports and account email addresses are not shown publicly. Content flagged for moderation may remain stored for abuse review.
Account access and choices
In Account settings, members can export their account information and close their accounts. Closing removes follows, voting records and alerts, disables sign-in and replaces displayed authorship on existing posts with “Deleted juror”. Public text and approved case records may be retained without the username for discussion context and legal or safety requirements. Request further assistance via the contact address below.
Security and providers
We use a managed database and hosting provider. Transactional emails, when configured, are delivered through Resend. Operational logs and anti-abuse request counters may be retained by our hosting providers. The site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts; that request may disclose your IP address to Google. Reset and verification tokens expire and are stored as hashes.
Safety and retention
Do not post private personal information, sealed court materials, or confidential identifiers. Moderators may remove or restrict content, and copies may remain in backups for a limited period based on hosting arrangements. RageCourt is intended for adults aged 18 and older.
Privacy, deletion and correction inquiries: contact information must be configured by the site operator before launch.
This policy should be reviewed and updated with actual hosting, analytics and retention practices before promotion.
